These 2-saddle bridges do not intonate perfectly, as opposed to a 4-saddle bridge. 2-saddles were used on a lot of basses over the years, especially the early Fender Precision Basses. This little bass is just a fun instrument to play.This bass comes with the original 2-saddle bridge.
The pickup reads 7.3k on my digital meter. Upon reassembly, I removed the original stock 6 pole pickup and installed an aftermarket/import 4 pole pickup. I then applied a bit of StewMac "Aged Clear" to areas to give it a bit of an aged look. I sanded the headstock and body, filled a few pickguard holes, trimmed and shaped a stock Bronco Bass pickguard to give it more of a Music Master Bass shape, painted the body and headstock "Blue Ocean Breeze".
It started as a short-scale (30") Squier Bronco Bass. Thanks for checking it out and be on the lookout soon!! -LennyThis is one of my projects, finally finished. I plan on re-painting it in a color that I've used before and gotten good results (like coral, shell pink, beige, khaki, etc.).
